The CFC Soccer Ball and Benefit Auction is this Saturday. Don’t let your friends miss the inaugural event! Encourage everyone you know to buy their tickets! The seating chart is underway.
Dinner ~ A delicious sit-down plated Oaxacan Chicken Mole with sides, salad and dessert! I tasted this and it is truly to die for.
Drinks ~ The Salem Conference Center will have several cash bars with a full complement of fabulous cocktails, wine and beer. We will have CFC Sponsored “Buckets of Beer”. Featuring Mexican beers in a bucket of 4 for $15.
Dress Code ~ Many will dress to impress on this terrific night on the town, but come in what makes you comfortable. The official word is, “anything between tennis shoes and tuxedos.”
Personal Checks are the preferred method of payment! We don’t have to give a percentage to the credit card company and we both have a record of the transaction. We do accept Visa and Mastercard and cash.
Registration: All bidders must register at the auction table in the front of the lobby, where they will each be assigned bidder number.
Cascade Fútbol Club/CFC Soccer Ball reserves the right to refuse admission to, or attendance by, any person at the Auction or related events.
Payment: All payments shall be by cash, credit card, certified check or personal check made payable to Cascade Fútbol Club. Credit cards accepted are VISA or Mastercard. Full payment must be made for all purchases at the conclusion of the Auction. Cashiers, located at check out, will accept payment.
Conditions of Purchase: All sales are final. Items are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged or returned, unless specified. All items are sold “as is.” Purchasers must rely only on their own inspection and/or opinion; Cascade Fútbol Club makes no warranties, express or implied.
Cascade Fútbol Club does not warrant or represent, and expressly denies responsibility for, and in no event shall be responsible for, the accuracy or description of items offered, or the correctness of the catalog, including, but not limited to the origin, rarity, age, genuineness, quality, quantity, or condition.
Unless specifically set forth, all Auction items expire on May 21, 2012.
Bidding: All bids are per item as set forth in the catalog, unless otherwise announced by the auctioneer. Cascade Fútbol Club may combine or divide any items(s) at its sole discretion. Auctioneer and Cascade Fútbol Club have the right to reject any bid at any time prior to the fall of the hammer without liability. If the auctioneer decides that any opening does not correspond with the value of the article offered, the auctioneer may reject the bid and withdraw the item from sale, and if, having acknowledged an opening bid, auctioneer decides that any advance thereafter is insufficient, auctioneer may reject the advance.
No live auction bid shall be valid unless expressly acknowledged by the auctioneer.
The highest bidder acknowledged during the live or silent auctions shall be the purchaser and therein assumes full risk and responsibility.
By raising a bidder paddle or making a silent auction bid, the bidder warrants that s/he will pay the full purchase price if successful.
The auctioneer shall have the absolute right to resolve any dispute, reoffer, resell, or withdraw the item in question. If any dispute arises after the sale, the Cascade Fútbol Club’s sale records shall be conclusive in all respects.
All items offered for sale may be subject to a minimum price below which such item will not be sold. That minimum price may be publicly stated or confidential.
Silent auction bid closing times will be posted. At close, the highest acknowledged bidder shall be deemed to have purchased the item.
Item Pick-up: Purchases must be accompanied by a receipt, and must be picked up by the purchaser prior to leaving the venue at the conclusion of the Auction. Buyers will receive a receipt listing of their purchases and after reviewing and approving the receipt, they will pick up their items unless otherwise specified or unless prior arrangements have been made.
Travel Packages: Before bidding, please read carefully the following conditions of purchase for all travel packages. Travel packages sold through the Auction contain only those elements listed in the auction lot description.
Arrangements for use of condos or other privately owned property is subject to agreement between the donor and the winning bidder. Specifications in the catalog are those made by the donor. Those who support Cascade Fútbol Club have been most generous in donating their properties for your pleasure. It is the responsibility of the successful bidder to leave these accommodations in the same condition as they were on arrival.
Expiration dates are not flexible. Expiration dates have been carefully selected by the donors involved. To request an extension beyond the expiration date could place undue burden on the donor and jeopardize future donations to the Auction.
Once a trip is scheduled and confirmed by the buyers, changes may not be allowed by the donors. If a donor is unable to accommodate requests to reschedule or if a requested change results in a donor not being able to honor all components of the trip, Cascade Fútbol Club/CFC Soccer Ball will not refund any portion of the trip purchase.
Certificate Items: If your item is in certificate form, please review it as soon as possible for stipulations and exceptions. Please note all conditions, restrictions and expiration dates. All Auction items and services must be used within one year, after May 21, 2011 unless otherwise noted. Cascade Fútbol Club/The CFC Soccer Ball assumes no responsibility for loss or misplacement of certificates once winning bidder has taken possession.
Media Coverage: As a condition of and in consideration for participation in the Auction, guests release Cascade Fútbol Club and the Auction from any liability connected with the reproduction, adaptation, display, publication, and distribution, in any and all media, whether now known or yet to be developed, of any videos, photographs or other images taken of the guest at the Auction or any related events.
Cascade Fútbol Club is classified as a tax-exempt corporation (Tax I.D. Number is 93-1069211) under the Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3).
